Meditation Hermitage
At Dhamma Earth, we offer a structured meditation training based on the teachings of the Most Venerable Pa Auk Sayadaw, as practiced in the Pa Auk Forest Monasteries. The meditation course is based on the Buddha’s systematic instructions from the Pali Canon (Tipitaka) and its commentaries, focusing on the Threefold Training:
- Sīla (Morality): The foundation of ethical living
- Samādhi (Concentration): The cultivation of a focused mind
- Paññā (Wisdom): The development of insight
Our monasteries welcome practitioners year-round for meditation practice and scheduled retreats. As the Buddha taught, the gift of Dhamma is the most precious gift. In this spirit, all meditation retreats at Dhamma Earth are offered free of charge, supported by the generosity (dāna) of donors who wish to help others experience the path of awakening.
DHAMMA EDUCATION

VISION
Dhamma Earth envisions becoming a global center for Dhamma propagation, continuing to spread the teachings of the Buddha and helping more beings find liberation from suffering. The future of Dhamma Earth includes expanding its ecosystem to encompass more charitable, educational, and health-related projects, ensuring that people at every stage of life can benefit from the Dhamma.
The vision of Dhamma Earth is to create a natural, harmonious, and self-sustaining Dhamma community where individuals can continuously grow in their spiritual practice. Whether one is a beginner or an advanced practitioner, young or old, healthy or sick, Dhamma Earth provides a nurturing environment for all to progress on the path of Dhamma.
The future plans of Dhamma Earth include further improving infrastructure, such as constructing a multi-purpose hall, a stupa, activity areas for the disabled, a hospice center, and more. Additionally, Dhamma Earth will continue to organize various Dhamma activities to help more people understand and practice the teachings of the Buddha. Dhamma Earth remains committed to promoting and practicing the Dhamma, providing more opportunities for learning and spiritual cultivation, so that the wisdom and compassion of the Dhamma may benefit an even wider community.
May the Buddha’s teachings spread far and wide.
May all sentient beings be free from all suffering and attain happiness.
May all those who have encountered the Dhamma learn the Dhamma and practice the Dhamma, realize the Dhamma and protect the Dhamma.
And may all those who have not come to know the Dhamma have the opportunity to plant a seed of the Dhamma.
